The Discussion:

With sustainability expectations accelerating across the built environment, the conversation is no longer just about compliance. It’s about how these changes are influencing the way workplaces are planned, specified and experienced. The discussion will explore how mandatory sustainability frameworks are shaping design decisions, alongside a broader look at the future of meeting and collaboration spaces and how they support the way we work today.

So, how do we design workplaces that meet rising sustainability requirements while still enabling meaningful collaboration?

We will be joined by Dirk Rutten all the way from the Netherlands. Dirk is the Lead Designer and Founder of Ecolution Design, who will talk through how they are approaching circularity and the sustainable trends in the European market.

We will also hear from James Calder from Placing Advisory. James will share insights into how sustainable design strategies are evolving as they move from optional aspirations to mandatory requirements across the built environment. He will also explore the future of meeting rooms and their impact on collaborative work.
