An Opportunity of a Lifetime

Named in memory of revered local designer and craftsman Ian Howard, the scholarship honours exceptional academic performance with a strong focus on design and technology. Anh's Trip to Europe

Thanks to the scholarship, Anh Tran will receive a grant of $15,000 to cover travel expenses for a European tour, including visits to the world-renowned Actiu furniture factory in Valencia, the RMIT PRS (Practice Research Symposium) in Barcelona, and the prestigious Salone del Mobile in Milan. This unique opportunity will significantly influence her education and future career. She will be exposed to cutting-edge design trends, new technologies, and innovative materials, and gain firsthand experience of the manufacturing processes at some of the world's leading furniture companies.
