Shortlisted in the 2026 Australian Interior Design Awards – Workplace Design category, Hardie Grant's new headquarters at T3 Collingwood is a workplace designed to support creativity, collaboration and focused work. Created by Carr and delivered by Icon, the project brings together the publisher's print, digital and marketing teams within a warm, flexible environment that reflects the company's evolving identity.

HOW Group was proud to partner with Carr and Icon to help bring the workplace to life. Working closely with the design team, we manufactured a series of custom bench tables in our Melbourne workshop, carefully developed to realise Carr's design intent while delivering the durability and functionality required for a busy workplace.

Bespoke furniture plays an important role throughout the fit-out, reinforcing the character of the interior while supporting a variety of working styles. The custom-made tables complement carefully selected lounge seating, meeting spaces and focus areas, creating places for collaboration, quiet concentration and informal conversations.

Alongside the locally manufactured tables, HOW Group supplied the D-Link sofa range and UFOU N Box Focus Booths, helping to create a workplace that balances residential comfort with commercial performance.Projects like this demonstrate the value of close collaboration between client, designer, builder and furniture partner. By working together from concept through to delivery, the result is a workplace that not only reflects Hardie Grant's brand but also supports the people who bring its stories to life every day.
