Furniture by Design started in 1983 as an upholstery manufacturer, built on service, quality and value. In 2019 they added timber joinery production, combining it with decades of upholstery experience. Today the Sydney team makes original Australian-designed furniture for hospitality, workplace and commercial projects, including work for Ace Hotel.

Sustainability shapes the way they design, source and make their furniture. Their simple aesthetic pairs quality upholstery, timbers, stone and metals, with low material and labour waste and a focus on longevity.
