Wing Chair by Actiu, designed by Ramos & Bassols, represents the natural technological evolution of the traditional wooden chair, reinterpreted through modern manufacturing and sustainable material innovation. Developed at the Actiu Technology Park, Wing combines design heritage with advanced production processes to create a lightweight, durable and highly functional seating solution.

The chair is manufactured using polypropylene with 30% fibreglass content, formed through a single-shot air injection process. This results in a compact structure with reduced weight, high strength, and minimal deformation over time. The design is fully recyclable and engineered for long-term performance in demanding environments.

Wing features a gently enveloping backrest and balanced proportions that support natural posture without adjustment, making it suitable for a wide range of users and applications. Its stackable form allows up to 6 chairs high, or up to 14 on a trolley (10 padded chairs maximum), making it highly practical for multipurpose spaces.

Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, Wing includes UV resistance and antistatic treatment for durability and ease of maintenance. The chair is available with optional seat pads in polyurethane or upholstered finishes, including a fabric option made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester, supporting more sustainable specification choices.
