Using a patented gravity mechanism, it responds naturally to the sitter’s body weight, removing the need for manual levers or controls. The chair’s tri-panel Form-Sensing Mesh backrest is inspired by clothing design and contours to the body to deliver personalised support throughout the day. Every element of the chair has been engineered for balance, movement, and effortless comfort.

Built with only 78 components, the World Chair achieves simplicity without compromise. Its lightweight structure uses up to 38 percent recycled content and is 95 percent recyclable at the end of its life, meeting the highest environmental standards including BIFMA Level 3, AFRDI Gold, and Declare Red List Approval. With a choice of breathable mesh or a sculpted upholstered seat, the World Chair is designed to enhance wellbeing and movement in every workspace. Made from highly durable materials, it is built to last and requires minimal maintenance over time.

The World Chair comes with an industry-leading 15-year warranty on components and parts, and a 5-year warranty on fabric and cushions. Comprising just eight major parts, it is designed to perform as well after a decade of use as it does on day one, so that it stays in use and out of landfill for a more sustainable workplace.
