Our vision for reconciliation is for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to be respected and valued through a culturally informed and inclusive community.
People are always at the heart of our vision and we strive to define and action mutually beneficial relationships and creative collaborations, that will deliver sustainable social, environmental, and economic benefits to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples both now and into the future.
Our goal is to build connections and create respectful and meaningful relationships with Traditional Custodians and First Nations peoples, understand their stories, learn from their wisdom and share throughout our sphere of influence. This commitment is particularly important to us as our business evolves. We are proud to promote Australian design and manufacturing and recognise the importance of including reconciliation within this story.
The featured artwork in our Reflect RAP is by Rheanna Lotter, a proud Yuin woman and Aboriginal artist who places great significance on highlighting cultural connections through symbolism. Rheanna works with many clients around Australia to showcase modern and contemporary Aboriginal art, sharing culture in unique ways. We thank Rhe for her generosity, creativity, and the learnings she shared with us through this process. Her creativity continues to inspire us every day.
We have listened to our community, partners and team members and recognise the importance of reconciliation as an integral aspect of our operations and community engagement efforts. Our plan for the future of the HOW Group centres around people, growth, transformation, and change. It is an opportune time to align our journey towards reconciliation with our business vision.
